On May 16, 2015, the newly-formed Central Valley School District (a consolidation of former Mohawk & Ilion central schools) passed a $73.6M referendum to renovate three of their schools and to completely reconstruct another. We are engaged as a sub consultant to King+King Architects to provide all HVAC, plumbing & electrical design.

The VIP/IPD Team provided a turn key Archival Storage building to Syracuse University back in 2010. We were recently hired with VIPAA to design phase II, consisting of a second archive vault that must maintain environmental conditions of 50F at 30%RH, a freezer that must maintain 25F at 40%RH and various lab spaces that will be used to process the various archives being stored.

We have been retained by The Hayner Hoyt Corporation to provide all HVAC, plumbing, electric, process and structural engineering for a 244,000sf conventional steel framed plastic injection molding expansion for Tessy Plastics, a long-time customer of ours.

Livestock feed company, Grober Nutrition, tasked Syracuse-based General Contractor, Hueber-Breuer with building a new powdered milk plant in Auburn, NY. IPD:Engineering has been retained as the prime consultant to provide all HVAC, plumbing, electric, structural and portions of the process engineering as well as subcontracting the Architecture to VIP Architectural Associates.

We are currently involved in several large scale mixed use building projects for various Developers. The latest of which is the Dietz Building, a 220,000sf wood and masonry building on Wilkinson Street in Syracuse will soon undergo a major transformation in to high-end apartments, ground floor commercial space and underground parking.

Saratoga Hospital has us designing a 1 Megawatt microturbine-based combined heat and power (CHP) plant! Not only will this system pay for itself in less than 3 years, it will allow their OR’s, ICU and ED to ride through commercial power outages, which they currently experience more than a dozen times per year.
