IPD Engineering was founded in 2009 and is operated by its President, Samuel Cosamano, P.E. and Executive Vice President, Samuel Gramet, P.E. The firm is headquartered in Syracuse, New York and is comprised of 24+ employees providing HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical & Structural design services. IPD has completed hundreds of highly successful designs, across many industry sectors, for projects ranging in size of up to $75 million. Our people have an average of 15 years of experience and are highly skilled at what they do.

Sam Cosamano, PE, LEED® AP
President
Sam brings over 20 years of experience designing mechanical systems, has a reputation for developing creative design solutions, and is a proponent of sustainable design. Sam is licensed in multiple states, is a LEED® Accredited Professional, a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers and was recognized as one of the CNY Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty 2014 winners.

Executive Vice President
Sam brings over 20 years of comprehensive HVAC, plumbing design and construction experience. He is licensed in the state of New York, is a LEED® Accredited Professional and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
Al Daniels, CPD, CBPD, LEED® AP
Vice President
Al brings over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering design. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional, as well as a Certified Plumbing Designer and Building Commissioning Professional. Al is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, American Society of Plumbing Engineers and Association of Energy Engineers.
